By the way this is interesting; but still, it's complete bollocks. All those things don't change the fact that Bowling for Columbine tells us a lot about what is wrong with the US.

This guy used the Bowling for Columbine and his dislikement of corporation as a scapegoat to take out his personal opinion. He never manage to PROVE that the NRA and corporations were responsible yet he blamed them both vigorously. He partly blamed media for scaring americans when he himself did the same thing. He then makes a cartoon clip of how evil white people are and wrote a book on "stupid white men". This is the guy that fights for justice and equality? Those must be the words Ghandi would like to use. Moore is such a smart guy for verbally attacking an old man with alzeimer's in the morning and declares himself a winner in the interview (debate).
This is the guy that talks trash about America of how violent it is. I am canadian and i love america more than this guy. We might not share the same views on everything but Americans are our neighbors, business partners, allies and comrades. I wish americans would kick him out of America.

Dave, you are correct this Moore is very (VERY) left wing, however you may be interested (and my apologies if this is old information to you) that in both "Stupid White Men" and "Dude, Where's My Country" he comments that the USSR and communism are failed systems, so your socialist suggestion may be a bit off the mark.
I will not dare dispute your "1/2 truths and lies" suggestion as I have not researched the comprehensive sources that Moore provides with all his work. However I would not disagree that he he does present his information in a manner distinctly slanted towards a particular view, and I suppose that, by definition is propaganda; but I am of the opinion that he does provide an important alternative viewpoint on many issues. This can only be seen as positive when so much of our view of global events are provided, and therefore coloured, by pro-republican, corperate owned media giants.

To compare either Monte Python or Bowling for Columbine to serious journalism would be reckless although what happened in columbine was a disaster and something should be done to stop hi school shootings the way micheal moore went around it was wrong he had to get his documentory to appeal to a wide variety of people so people would listen to his view. although some of the ideas brought up were good you can not justify the shooting on bowling or music
