from thailand to malaysia...

i'm alive and well. stupid blog wasn't working for a few days...
i had an amazing time in ko pha ngan where i was staying in this beautiful looking, isolated beach, in my little bungalow... met a few people, got drunk a few times, it was great!
then went to ko samui which was definitely a bad idea cause the place sucks, tourist trap. tsk.
now i've just arrived in penang, malaysia, which seems really pretty so far. going to melaka tomorrow.
the NGO people delayed my arrival by a week so i've decided to hang out around malaysia a bit. i think i've had enough of the sea though, want cities now! :)

Careful if you go swimming on Penang. I got absolutely nailed by a jellyfish one day at Batu Ferringhi. Ouch ouch ouch.

Version

Because a picture is worth a thousand words, and I cannot describe my life better than a picture can.
And because my heaven is here, I'll wrap the world around it and live in a cocoon. Quoting from a favourite song, 'Letting the cables sleep' by Bush, in its incarnation as a remix. And I do wish the friend who introduced me to the song was here to see the way things turned out.
The photos used on this site were all taken by me and can be found on my Flickr account.
