Working life is tough; being in the office 9 to 5, Monday to Friday, is pretty tiring, even when you leave a 10 minute walk away. And then it's easier (than being a student) at the same time: money isn't something you need to worry about too much, and you don't have to bring the work home. I'm still undecided about the whole thing, but it'll do for now. I am actually enjoying the difference of it, having a routine, doing something which has immediate results. So, even though I can't see myself spending my life doing this, I'm pretty happy about it right now.
And our flat is lovely, so lovely (despite the silly electric heaters and the silly amounts of humidity). It does fulfill the criterias of my perfect flat (Victorian house, pretty tall ceilings, lovely sash windows, and a large open plan living room/dining room/kitchen), and I'm just really enjoying it. I need to post photos, but then I also need to post photos of India which have been sitting in my hard-drive for weeks, waiting to be photoshopped and uploaded onto Flickr.
I'm settling in, definitely, and I can't quite believe how unhappy I was a year ago and how incredibly not-unhappy I am now. Life isn't perfect but I'm having a pretty good time. Unless it's Sunday night and I know I have to get up at 7.30 the next morning after a nice weekend with friends... I am just so spoilt, right? :)
Oh, and did I tell you? My gorgeous M and I have been together for over two years now. It seems yesterday I met him, and look where we are now. And somehow, I don't think we'll be leaving each other's side any time soon...
